Step back in time and celebrate the spirit of 1940s Britain 🇬🇧 immersing yourself in the festive atmosphere, we will be having a stall to fundraise for children and families of the Armed Forces.
Located at the headstocks and history centre
Indoor and outdoor displays, WW1 and WW2. Clipstone Camp held 30,000 troops during its time with 62Km of trenches still there.
There is also Tours of the mining area, history of Clipstone. Stuart Mill’s bought the former colliery in 2020 and has plans to transform the site into a visitor attraction. The site features the tallest headstocks in the world and had been empty since its doors closed two decades ago - until it was purchased by Mr Mills.
