Clipping & Conversation: Prep Event for Shelter Pet Beds and Toys

Looking for a cozy way to give back and connect with others? Join us for Clipping and Conversation on Thursday, November 19th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Columbia Heights Library.
We are hosting a volunteer prep night to help get materials ready for our upcoming shelter Pet Bed Workshop and a future event to make toys for shelter dogs. Volunteers will be cutting fleece strips for dog toys and shredding leftover fabric scraps to be used as soft, cozy stuffing for pet beds. No sewing or crafting experience is necessary—just a willingness to chat, snip, and help keep local shelter animals warm and happy!
All materials as well as scissors will be provided, but if you have a favorite pair of fabric shears you prefer to use, you are highly encouraged to bring them along. Come for the whole time or just drop in for an hour of good company and easy crafting for a great cause. We hope to see you there!
