Enhance occupational therapists’ clinical reasoning in risk assessment, management, mitigation, and documentation.
About this Event

A practical and interactive half day course to enhance occupational therapists’ understanding and application of clinical reasoning in relation to risk assessment, risk management and mitigation, and documentation within practice.

Course Aims:

  1. To understand your role as an Occupational Therapist in risk assessment and management.
  2. To develop your understanding and competence within risk assessment and management in patient care.
  3. To identify what is required in effective risk assessment and management.

Who should attend:

Newly qualified or junior Occupational Therapist (Band 5 -6)

Why attend:

Effective clinical reasoning underpins safe, person-centred occupational therapy practice. This half-day course is designed to support Band 5 and Band 6 Occupational Therapists in developing confidence and consistency when making and documenting risk-based clinical decisions.

By attending this course, participants will learn through interactive case-based discussions, apply learning to realistic scenarios, promoting reflective practice and peer learning in a supportive environment.
