Welcome to Team Wilmington! Join us June 22nd at 9am at Halyburton Park, Shelter 1 for our annual walk, community building, and fun for the whole family in support of perinatal mental health!
The Climb is a program of Postpartum Support International, and is the world's largest event raising funds and awareness for the mental health of new families. The Climb brings our community together to shine a light on a darkness we often don't speak about. Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders are the most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth.
The goal of the Climb Out of the Darkness is for survivors, providers, and members of the community to come together to share stories of hope, celebrate recovery, and to shine a light on the darkness. We stress the message that you are not alone and, with help, you can be well!
Team Wilmington's 2024 Climb includes:
Resource fair featuring local resources and supports.
Welcome ceremony highlighting a survivor's story.
Warm-up with Fit4Mom.
Stroll around the park. Welcoming scooters, strollers, etc.
Family friendly activities, snacks and refreshments provided.
Connect with others in the same stage of life - you are not alone!
Raise funds and support for perinatal mental health and the NC Chapter of PSI!
