The workshop on Food Energy Water (FEW) nexus follows a successful workshop in 2019. This year edition is organized by the Institute for Energy Efficinecy with OpenFarm that promotes sustainability in food systems and precision in agriculture since 2016. Growers, food processors, and technology solution providers will join academics and agency representatives will discuss challenges in managing water security and energy trasnition.
The Food & Ag industry faces special challenges due to is reliance on water (farming), natural gas (processing) and cold storage (distribution). We will cover those topics in an intimate setting to allow stakeholders to discuss “climate risks and smart food systems”.
