Climate, Health & Sustainable Care Inaugural Symposium

Happening on October 22, 2024, at the University of Toronto Faculty Club, this full-day event (9 am - 4 pm, followed by reception) will strengthen our collective capacity to understand and address the health and health system challenges of climate change and the demands of sustainability.

• Learn from local, national, and international experts to share expertise and knowledge on the health and health system implications of global ecological change.
• Discuss the future of health professions and health sciences education on planetary health and sustainable care.
• Learn about practical initiatives to improve the resilience and sustainability of health systems.
• Network and engage in critical discussions with colleagues who share a commitment to sustainability, planetary health, and climate action.

The Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care is a new multi-faculty academic unit at the University of Toronto.
