As part of the Sustainable Syracuse Initiative and its Climate Education and Engagement Program, the Division of Planning and Sustainability is hosting public meetings about climate education and sustainability. These meetings will introduce the community to the City’s Climate Action Plan and discuss climate themes relevant to our region. This meeting's theme will focus on heat islands and trees. Professor Ted Endreny from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) is the featured speaker.
