Climate and the Kelvin

This year thanks to Glasgow Climate Action Hub we have developed two new tours that take participants through Glasgow, examining the history and future of social movements and climate justice as we walk through our city.

Each walk follows the route of one of the city's rivers. Today we’re going to be walking through Govan and then following the River Kelvin through Partick, looking at our radical and revolutionary histories, the challenges that the climate crisis presents today, and ways in which we can take collective action.

This tour will last around 2 hours and cover a distance of about 2 miles.

This route will mostly be on pavements and step-free paths, please contact us to discuss any access requirements.
