Join us and learn about the diversity of impactful climate actions implemented by the City of Bloomington. This talk will highlight the grants and rebates available to residents, small businesses, and nonprofits to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase resilience to climate change. From solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, and insulation, to tree plantings, neighborhood gardens, cool roofs, and more, the City provides resources for the community to make these projects happen. Miya and Perry will also share news about potential incoming sources of federal grant dollars for community-wide energy efficiency and solar installations. Listeners will find out how to apply for funding and what community input the City needs for upcoming projects.
