Imagine if Charlie Daniels married a female Jerry Lee Lewis—that's the electrifying combination of Cliff & Susan, a married country music duo from Little Rock, Arkansas. Known for their powerful vocals, instrumental prowess, and dynamic performances, they captivate audiences worldwide with their unique blend of country, rock, blues, and soul.
With over 2,000 songs in their arsenal, their lively, request-driven, and interactive shows keep crowds entertained for hours. Their piano, fiddle, and guitar performances showcase a musical versatility that is truly impressive.
Their Journey Together
Cliff and Susan met on stage in Little Rock in 2016, and their musical and personal chemistry was immediate. They formed their duo and eloped in Las Vegas in 2017. Since then, they have toured internationally in over seven countries, performing more than 200 shows per year and sharing the stage with major acts like ZZ Top, Sawyer Brown, and Niko Moon. They’ve secured a 10-year residency at Oaklawn Casino in Hot Springs for the annual Thoroughbred horse racing season.
Their signature song, "Fiddle & Keys," released in January 2023, landed an invitation to perform on National TV on the Huckabee Show TBN, February 2023. Their 12-song debut album, “Fiddle & Keys,” charted in the Top 40 on the US iTunes Country Albums Chart upon its release in October 2023.
Recent Achievements
In 2024, Cliff & Susan received five nominations at the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry, the premier music event in the independent music industry. They were honored in the categories of Country Duo of the Year, Country Duo Album of the Year for "Fiddle & Keys," Entertainer Duo of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year, and Country Song of the Year for “A Song for Grandad.” Their single, a cover of "Into the Mystic" achieved Top 15 country airplay charting and reached #16 on the UK iTunes Country Chart, solidifying their presence as a rising force in country music. The duo secured nominations at the Arkansas Country Music Awards for Vocal Duo/Group, Album of the Year for "Fiddle & Keys," and Music Producer of the Year for Cliff Prowse.
Beyond the Stage
In 2017, they founded Big Red Dog Productions, a music production and artist development company based in Little Rock. Their annual award-winning Yadaloo Music & Arts Festival led to them winning the Arkansas Country Music Award's Promoter of the Year. In 2022, they launched the Entertainers Academy to help independent artists build profitable music careers and stay up-to-date in the ever-evolving music industry.
