About this Event
OVERVIEW
This training will provide an overview of the rights of those receiving community mental health and addiction services in Ohio. During this training, participants will also learn the role and duties of community client rights officers as well as how to build an effective program and successfully handle difficult cases.
Topics to be covered:
- current client rights sections of the Ohio Administrative Code
- the rights of community mental health consumers and the role these rights play in mental health recovery
- building a client rights program within a facility
- key strategies needed to problem solve difficult client rights issues
CEUs: CEUs for Ohio Counselors and Social Workers will be provided by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services.
