Cleveland Boat Show Workforce Day

The Ohio Marine Trades Association is offering a Workforce Day at the Cleveland Boat Show this January!

Workforce Day focuses on careers in the marine industry that offer advancement without a college degree. Students will partcipate in various breakout sessions, such as a Q&A session with industry professionals, a hands-on activity with a boat motor led by a technician from Yamaha, time to explore the boat show and talk to exhibitors (i.e. boat dealers and technicians) about career opportunities, and a brainstorming session about the connection between the marine industry and sustainability issues.

If there is enough student interest, this may be offered as a field trip. Please sign up if you're interested so we can track the numbers. You will receive an email from Mrs. Holden with more information!

This experience will count towards the new Honors Diploma field experience requirement and the Experienceship graduation cord. This is not for course credit.
