Join the City of Cleveland’s Division of Air Quality (CDAQ) as we continue the conversation about the future of air quality in our city. We’re hosting a series of public meetings throughout January 2025 to share proposed updates to Cleveland’s Air Code, listen to your feedback, and ensure your voice shapes our air quality regulations.

For the first time since 1977, significant updates to the Air Code are being proposed, reflecting modern environmental challenges, climate change considerations, and the health needs of our community—especially those in overburdened areas. These updates are informed by your previous feedback and aim to create a cleaner, healthier Cleveland for generations to come.

What to Expect:

• Learn About the Proposed Changes: Get an overview of the updated Air Code, including new measures designed to protect public health and reduce air pollution.
• Provide Your Input: Share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas during open comment sessions. Written and voicemail submissions are also welcome.
• Access Key Resources: Attendees will receive access to a draft summary document of proposed changes, which will be available starting January 8, 2025.
• Engage with Experts: Meet CDAQ staff and learn how air quality regulations are implemented to protect our environment and community health.
