About this Event

Registration is now open for Clerical Lives in Britain, c. 1600-1800. Organised by Dr Hannah Yip and Dr Ben Jackson, this conference seeks to explore the social and cultural lives of the Protestant clergy in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

Sponsored by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Arts and Languages (University of Manchester) and the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies.

Keynote speakers: Professor Jacqueline Eales (Canterbury Christ Church University) and Professor Jon Stobart (Manchester Metropolitan University)
