creative approaches to be more inclusive.
About this Event
Clearer Communication is a half-day, in-person workshop exploring how small, practical changes in communication can improve access and inclusion across arts, culture and community settings.
This session is built around real interaction and shared practice, rather than formal training or lectures. Through creative activities, guided demonstrations and discussion, participants will explore non-verbal, visual and embodied communication approaches that support clearer interaction with mixed-ability groups and audiences.
The workshop features contributions from experienced practitioners working across inclusive communication and creative practice. It forms part of a wider programme of access and inclusion activity commissioned by North East Lincolnshire Council, delivered in partnership with the Create North East Lincolnshire team. The programme supports artists, venues and cultural organisations to build more inclusive creative communities through shared learning, conversation and practical action.
