Help us help them! Help us reach our goal and CLEAR THE SHELTER! Saturday, August 23rd from 12-5pm.Clear The Shelter is a month-long goal dedicated to ensuring all adoptable animals with the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center find their fur-ever home, and thus, CLEARING the SHELTER.
Join us on Saturday, August 23rd, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center as we work together to accomplish this goal! Located at 303 H.G. Mosley Pkwy., Longview, TX 75604.
"Now in its 11th year, Clear The Shelters / Desocupar Los Albergues is an annual, nationwide pet adoption campaign led by NBCUniversal Local, a division of NBCUniversal
Every year, NBCUniversal Local’s NBC and Telemundo-owned stations, plus more than a hundred affiliated stations across the nation, partner with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise needed funds for shelters and rescues
Since its 2015 inception, Clear The Shelters has resulted in nearly 1.2 million pet adoptions and raised more than $5 million for participating shelters and rescues.
Clear The Shelters was inspired by a 2014 pet adoption event hosted by NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 and dozens of area shelters that resulted in the most adopted pets in one day for North Texas.
