We are having a cleanup day at our own Parker Audubon Preserve in St. Andrews on Wednesday, May 8 at 8:00 - 10:30am. This is a 1/2 acre property donated to us in 1986 by Audrey Parker, who lived next door. We have several benches, paths, lots of native plants and a pollinator garden, which is in need of some cleaning out. If you can come out to help in any way, please do so. We have some clippers and loppers but you can bring your own, as well as gloves, old clothes and water. A bonus is that you will be the first to see our newly constructed rainwater collection system, which was built by a local Girl Scout and her team to collect rainwater to water our new plants. Although we start at 8:00 you can come whenever you want. If you have power hedge trimmers, we could use them. The preserve is behind St. Andrews Baptist Church, on Cincinnati Ave. near the old St. Andrews School. Set your map app to 1546 Cincinnati Ave.
