Clay Tiles with Carla Angus
About this Event
Workshop Facilitator - Carla Angus
Get creative with clay and discover how everyday objects can make amazing patterns and textures! Using forks, sticks, combs and other simple tools, you'll design and emboss your own unique clay tile, experimenting with shapes, marks and decorative details.
Inspired by nature, patterns and your imagination, you'll create a beautiful tile to take home and display. No firing required, bring your creativity and get ready to make something truly one-of-a-kind.
All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
All young people need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for children aged 8+, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome.
Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills and spend quality time together.
By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work.
This workshop is part of the SPARK! Summer Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
