Clay Art Community Workshop

Join us for a clay workshop designed to help you slow down and explore who you are, as part of our Creative Art Series - led by multidisciplinary artist and animator, Natalie Charles.

This session, The Process is the Product, invites you to focus on making without pressure or expectation. Natalie will guide you as you build a small, palm-sized piece using elements that feel relevant or important to you as a person. Working with clay can feel grounding and absorbing, offering a way to switch off, use your hands and settle into the moment. You’ll leave with your own handmade piece to take home.

You'll be guided and helped, with space to follow your own ideas and work intuitively.

Examples and reference materials will also be available for inspiration. Open to all, no experience needed.

What to expect

• A guided clay building session led by a community-focused artist

• Option to follow the personal-element theme or go your own way

• All materials provided, including clay, tools, bags for transporting pieces home, and more

• A range of visual references and inspiration available

• A relaxed, supportive and social atmosphere

• Chilled background music throughout the session

• Time to create at your own pace

Refreshments

Tea, soft drinks and light snacks will be available.
