Slab building with clay involves working with sheets of clay that can be folded, curved, and joined to make different forms. Slabs of clay can be used to make any form, like plates, bowls and mugs.In this class, you will get to design and create your own handmade ceramic pieces by using the slab building method. Students will get 5 lbs of clay to create, and can expect to create between 1-3 pieces.
$60/per person (Summer Price: $50/per person)
**All participants must be 8 years or older**
Students will need to come back to glaze their own piece to give it a colorful and glossy surface. The glazing fee is included in the class, you will get an email notification to schedule your glazing date once we complete a bisque firing for your piece.
