Our guest will be former Whittle Communications executive Clay Shwab, with a presentation about his new book, Manny Shwab and the George Dickel Company, relating the surprising story about how a Jewish immigrant (Clay’s ancestor, actually) played a major role in establishing our state’s reputation for excellent whiskey. Although much of it’s a Middle Tennessee story, Clay will be emphasizing the earlier Knoxville part of it. Free program. Food and drink available are for purchase.
