Welcome to Clay Night!We invite sculptors of all skill levels - artists and non-artists alike - to come and play with clay!
Get your hands dirty and make something original. Bring a friend-- or make some new ones! Participants have the opportunity to make whatever they want to, though they certainly are welcome to ask the host for some beginner-level project ideas.
Clay Night is not a structured class- our host, Anna, is happy to help you get creative, offer instructions, and help execute your ideas. You will be provided with a to-go box to bring what you make home with you. You will then be able to paint your art if you desire. Participants are welcome to bring in tools they may want to use such as stamps, models, etc.
*** The clay provided is air dry clay NOT fired clay. Air dry clay cannot be moistened after drying without consequences. Polyurethane varnish or an acrylic sealant can be applied to make clay water-resistant. ***
