Wether starting your pottery journey, or an experienced maker this workshop is designed to help with what is often a knowledge gap - understanding firing.

In this informal presentation you will learn how to positively impact successful pottery outcomes by :-
. Choosing clay and glaze for a good fit and what that means.
. Understanding what happens to your pots during firing.
. Learning how to test clay and glazes.
. Troubleshooting firing issues.
. Understanding and communicating your firing needs.
. Making pottery safe to sell.

The above all builds on your core ceramic knowledge!
We will provide a 1hr studio based tutorial followed by Q&A and take home print out.
