Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a creative, hands-on pottery experience at Mercado Art Studio. Whether you’re coming with a date, a friend, or treating yourself, this instructor-led hand-building class is the perfect way to unwind, sip, and create something meaningful.

Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, each participant will create hand-built pottery pieces using traditional clay techniques—no wheel required. You’ll learn:

• Pinch, slab, and coil-building techniques
• How to shape cups, bowls, dishes, or sculptural forms
• Proper clay joining and finishing methods
• How to use essential hand-building tools

No prior experience necessary.

• Price: $95 per person
• Duration: 2-hour instructor-led class

• All clay, tools, aprons, and materials
• Two kiln firings (bisque + glaze)
• One glaze color of your choice
• Studio tech glazing assistance
• Courtesy text notifications when your pieces are ready for pickup

Your pieces will dry, be bisque fired, glazed by our studio team, and fired once more.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion. You’ll receive up to two courtesy pickup reminders once your pottery is ready. Unclaimed pieces after two weeks will be donated.

Located in the heart of Hallandale Beach, Mercado Art Studio has proudly served the local art community for over seven years. We offer beginner classes, multi-week courses, memberships with 24/7 access, and a gallery showcasing member work. Free parking is available, and we’re conveniently located just east of I-95.
