Tap into some of the fabulous possibilities of clay with artist Susie Oats from Pots of Hope.
From hand-building to throwing, this course will help you to develop your connection with and explore the enormous potential of clay as a phenomenal creative resource for all abilities. Throughout this course you will be given the opportunity to either begin or progress in learning the skills to throw, pinch, coil, slab-build, sculpt and glaze for firing.
Location: Lookout Studio, The Base
Course Dates: Mondays, 22 Sep - 20 Oct & 3 Nov - 1 Dec
Duration: 6pm - 8pm
Age Guide: 18+
Please note: pottery wheels are not suitable for people with pacemakers.
Please have an apron or old clothes available. All materials provided. There will be a nominal charge for glazes used.
All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
