Come explore the wonders of clay and how to create fun items with the basics of hand building! This camp will focus on the basic yet most essential techniques when working with clay. Each child will learn important steps when constructing and decorating the surface of their work. We will dive into several different hand building methods that have been an important part of pottery since early on. Campers will create functional forms and be able to play with sculptural aspects and how to finish each piece with plenty of color. This camp will offer a lot of hands on activities that are great for any level of young artists!
