Clay Butter Bell Wheel Workshop- Wednesday July 1st, 6-8.30pm
It works on a simple bit of old-world kitchen physics:
The butter is packed into an inverted inner cup, the “bell.”
The outer crock holds a small amount of water.
When the bell is placed upside down into the crock, the water forms an air seal.
That seal keeps oxygen out, slowing spoilage and keeping the butter pleasantly spreadable.
Come along and make your own to keep your butter perfectly soft!
