It's time to clean out your closets for a good cause! We'll be hosting a Classy Clothing Swap at The Makers Place™ hosts in partnership with local non-profits.

ADMISSION: Free to anyone who bring at least something to donate. We will have a suggested donation of $10-15 per person that will go directly to our non-profit partner, Julie's Purse Project.
PREP YOUR DONATIONS: We are accepting the following items in GOOD used condition:
- Young children's clothing (newborn through elementary age)
- Women's clothing
- Women's shoes
- Purses and accessories
Everything must be clean and dry, off hangers, and separated into sizes and types (please do this BEFORE you arrive as space is limited onsite).
BRING (see above for specifics)
- Clothing donations
- Non-profit donation
- Extra bags to bring home your great finds!
- Friends (who RSVP as well!)
DO NOT BRING:
- Toys
- Books
- Men's clothing
- Older teen clothing
- Anything that is stained, unwashed, or damaged
- A bad attitude
ADDRESS + PARKING: Our address is 2214 21st Street Sacramento, CA 95818 and there is free 2-hour street parking along 21st St and neighboring side streets (just be mindful of parking signs and local laws). Please DO NOT park next door in the YMCA lot unless you are a member and plan to work out before/after the event.
ACCESSIBILITY: Please note that this event will be hosted on the second floor of a historic house that does not have a ramp or elevator access so guests must be able to climb stairs. If any guests require closer temporary parking for easier unloading of larger donations, please let us know.
GUEST AGE: We welcome all guests 10 years and up who can stay with their parent/guardian. Infants that can be worn safely are welcome to stay with their parent. For safety reasons, younger children will not be allowed upstairs and must be pre-registered in our onsite childcare or cared for offsite.
CHILDCARE*: We are exploring the option to offer onsite childcare in our preschool area (first floor) for a flat fee per child if there is enough interest and we can confirm caregivers for the event time. If you have selected that you are interested in onsite childcare on the event form, we will be back in touch with updates closer to the event date.
ABOUT US: The Makers Place™ is Sacramento's first and only coworking space with onsite childcare and a licensed Mini Makers™ Preschool. If you have young children (12 weeks to Kinder-age), we invite you to check out our flexible Membership Packages if you're looking for remote or hybrid work options while we watch your infant/toddler. Our preschool program offering various enrollment options for ages 2-5 years with a focus on teaching character education through creativity and inclusion.
