Classroom Management for Middle and High School OST Providers

Participants will increase their understanding of creating creative and supportive

learning environments for children and youth in grades 6-12th. Participants will

leave with tools and strategies for building positive relationships with children and

youth, how to redirect attention, and creating youth-centered and affirming

environments

○ Skills and competencies: child/youth growth and development; learning

environments and curriculum; relationships and interactions with children and

youth; youth engagement, voice, and choice; safety and wellness
