About this Event

The Sheffield and District Classical Association is pleased to present a lecture from Prof Helen Lovatt on The Power of Sadness in Virgil's epic poem Aeneid.

Virgil’s Aeneid is a 12-book Latin epic (29–19 BC), narrating the journey of the Trojan hero Aeneas.

The event, which is open to all, is being hosted by High Storrs School on Wednesday 25th March from 3.45pm onwards.

Tickets must be booked on Eventbrite. Admission is FREE for students, but £1 entry for non-students, which is payable on the door (cash only).
