Join us on the first Tuesday of each month as we dive into the world of classics with the Classically Inclined Book Club. Whether you’re a classics fan or a complete newcomer looking to get started, this is the book club for you!
For September, we’ll be discussing E.M. Forster’s iconic A Room with a View (1908). More than a love story, A Room with a View is a penetrating social comedy and a brilliant study of contrasts - in values, social class, and cultural perspectives - and the ingenuity of fate. Famously adapted into film (1986) starring Helena Bonham Carter as Lucy Honeychurch, Forster’s story is full of ‘as much genuine concern as astonished amusement’ (New York Times).
