Join us as we highlight classical favorites on select evenings throughout the season.Our classical Illuminated Fountain Performances are dramatic, inspiring, and breathtakingly beautiful. Many of these performances are designed by Longwood P.S. du Pont Fellow—and our very first fountain choreographer—Colvin Randall, who has been at the Gardens for 48 years and designing shows for 45 years.

Swan Lake*

Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet takes new flight in our graceful rendition of this poignant story of metamorphosis, romance, and tragedy.
Gershwin Favorites

Enjoy a moving selection of Gershwin’s beloved hits, including a celebration of the 100th anniversary of perhaps his best-known work: the jazz-inspired, revolutionary Rhapsody in Blue.
Italian Spectacular*

Sleeping Beauty*

We awaken Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty for a beautiful evening beyond your wildest dreams.
Special to this evening and prior to the Illuminated Fountain Performance, enjoy live string quartet with a modern twist as Vivace Live performs in our Beer Garden (6–8:45 pm).
Romeo and Juliet*

It’s a love story for the ages as the sounds of Prokofiev’s ballet meet our dancing fountains.
Rachmaninov: Power and Passion*

Our fountains sway and dance along to the rich harmonies and lively fanfare of Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2, one of his best-known and most-loved compositions.
The Magic of Mozart

In a tribute to Mozart’s genius, our fountains glide along to selections from some of his most well-known masterpieces.
Evening Masquerade*

New this year! Get swept away in the melodic, energetic, and wistful works of one of the most renowned composers of the 20th century, Aram Khachaturian.
Special to this evening and prior to the Illuminated Fountain Performance, enjoy live music by guitarist and composer Rusty Banks in our Beer Garden (5–7:45 pm).
