Classical Hatha Yoga Teacher Training — 200-Hour Certification
About this Event
What is this?
A rigorous 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program rooted in authentic classical texts—Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and Gheranda Samhita. This is not a fitness certification. This is a comprehensive apprenticeship designed to transform serious practitioners into skilled, philosophically grounded yoga teachers.
Over 13 weeks, you'll study the full system of yoga—not just movement, but breath mastery, meditation progression, subtle energy anatomy, classical philosophy, and the practical business of building a sustainable teaching career.
Who is this for?
- Serious yoga practitioners ready to deepen their personal practice
- People called to teach yoga as a spiritual and professional path
- Existing teachers wanting to ground themselves in classical lineage
- Anyone committed to personal transformation through systematic yoga practice
What you'll study

Daily structure
- 90 minutes: practice (pranayama + asana)
- 135 minutes: meditation and subtle work
- Lunch
- 120 minutes: philosophy, sacred texts, discussion
Plus weekly assignments, reading journals, daily practice logs, shloka memorization.
What makes this different
Most yoga teacher trainings teach asana sequences and basic philosophy. This program teaches the entire classical system—what the West has been missing:
- Body as gateway: Asana as preparation for stillness, not performance
- Energy mastery: Nadis, chakras, pranayama as consciousness technology
- Meditation progression: From concentration (Dharana) through absorption (Samadhi)
- Ethical foundation: Yama/Niyama as the actual starting point
- Multiple lineages: Classical Raja Yoga, Hatha (Tantra/Nāth), Bhakti, Jnana, plus Iyengar alignment and Ashtanga flow
The business piece
Most yoga teachers don't continue teaching because they don't know how to build a sustainable practice. This program includes:
- How to market yourself as a teacher
- Building your brand and studio
- Retaining students and creating steady income
- Real business fundamentals from someone who runs a digital agency
Outcomes
By the end, you'll have:
- A deep personal practice grounded in classical technique
- Mastery of teaching methodology across multiple yoga styles
- The ability to guide students through all 8 limbs of yoga (not just asana)
- A business plan for your teaching career
- 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification
- A personal transformation documented through the entire program
The commitment
This is intensive. You're studying classical texts in depth, practicing every day, and preparing to guide others. If you're looking for a quick yoga cert, this isn't it. If you're serious about yoga as a lifelong path—and about becoming an authentic teacher—this is it.
