Classic Series: Conquer the Cheese & Wine Counters with Confidence—$75

Navigating the cheese counter—and picking the perfect wine to match—can feel overwhelming. With so many options, where do you start? This class is designed to take the mystery out of cheese and wine selection, giving you the knowledge and confidence to order like a pro.

For years, our resident author and expert cheesemonger, Adam Centamore, has been teaching cheese lovers from beginners to experts, helping them develop confidence as they walk up to counter to place their order. He will be in the shop on March 1st ready to demystify the cheese counter by breaking down different styles, flavors, and textures in a way that’s easy to understand while creating a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, tasting new things, and expanding their palates.

You’ll taste a variety of cheeses alongside complementary wines, understand what makes each pairing work, and gain insider tips for selecting, sampling, and serving with confidence.

Whether you're a total beginner or a budding enthusiast, this fun and interactive session will leave you ready to approach any cheese counter—or wine shop—with ease.

To fully participate in the class:

1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.

2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).

3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
