DAYS OF HEAVEN (1978)A visually stunning and evocative drama directed by Terrence Malick and starring Richard Gere, Brooke Adams and Sam Shepard. The farmer (Shepard), a reserved and lonely man, becomes smitten with Abby. When Bill learns that the farmer is terminally ill, he persuades Abby to marry him, believing they can inherit his fortune after his death. The plan becomes complicated as the farmer's health unexpectedly improves, leading to a tense and tragic love triangle.
Narrated by Linda, the film captures the profound beauty and harsh realities of rural life, set against the backdrop of breathtaking cinematography and an evocative score by Ennio Morricone.
