Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live takes the greatest albums and recreates them live on stage—note for note, cut for cut, using the best musicians. Sticky Fingers opens with Brown Sugar, closes with Moonlight Mile, one of the greatest album closers of all time. The guitar playing is very forward thinking. It takes a big band to get this right: strings, horns, keys, three guitarists. There’s a hint of a lifestyle attached to loving the Stones, a swaggering kind of attitude. Sticky Fingers is the Stones’ best album, and Classic Albums Live is going to pay it the ultimate respect and perform it note for note, cut for cut.
