Class Level: Beginner
Date: Saturday, March 20, 2027
Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Where: Hot Shops Art Center, 1301 Nicholas St, Omaha, Nebraska
Location: Studio 202 (Access via elevator or stairs)
Fee: $75, includes all supplies
Instructor: Nicole Dittus
Take a wooden box and paint, distress, and design it with decoupaged papers and artwork. Add miniature items to “tell a story” with your box. Suggested topics to consider as a theme; music, cottage core, an emotion, outer space, deep sea, flowers, nature. Boxes to choose from vary by class but will include shadow boxes, jewelry boxes, and pieces that can be glued together to make a new wooden “box” for decorating onto. Bring your own treasured box if you’d like. A variety of paint, ephemera, art and books will be on hand to use to recreate your box.
