Golden Highlanders, a society of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago, are invited to the Golden Highlander Reunion and Class of 1976 Pinning Ceremony on Thursday, May 21, and Undergraduate Commencement on Friday, May 22. These reunion events will be memorable occasions for gathering with classmates on the campus that made such an impact on your lives. Please see below for registration and event details.

Campus Tours: 3:30 – 4:45 p.m.

Class of 1976 Pinning Ceremony with President Teik C. Lim: 4:45–5:30 p.m.

Golden Highlanders Reunion Dinner: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Location: NJIT Campus, Central King Building

This will be a festive evening as the Class of 1976 is welcomed into the Golden Highlanders by President Lim, then gathers with the society for the Golden Highlanders Reunion Dinner. Enjoy a nostalgic evening with dinner, drinks, and friends new and old.

Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony
Friday, May 22, 2026
Breakfast: 6:45 a.m.

Bus to Prudential Center: 7:15 a.m.

Commencement Ceremony: 9 a.m.

Location: NJIT Campus, Eberhardt Hall (Breakfast); Prudential Center (Ceremony)

Enjoy continental breakfast followed by a private bus to the Prudential Center. At the Prudential Center, Golden Highlanders will enter through the VIP security entrance. Guests are welcome and will be seated together in a VIP seating area during the Commencement ceremony.
