Glass Fusing is the technique of joining two or more pieces of glass by heat in a kiln. In this fast paced introduction to fused glass, beginner students will learn fusing techniques by creating fused glass wall art. Advanced students will have access to all studio equipment and basic glass. Specialty glass and accessories for key rings, wine bottle stoppers, jewelry, etc are also available for purchase. Topics will include cutting, preparing pieces for the kiln and firing. Each participant may fill an 8x8 area with as many pieces as will fit, to be picked up the following week. Many designs (or design your own) and colors to choose from; all materials included. Bring your reading glasses if you need them.
