The beginning quilter will learn about color selection (light, medium, and dark) and how that translates into the visual aspects of the quilt along with basic techniques for construction of quilts. This quilt has some seams to match and we will discuss proper ironing and construction techniques to align the seams. We will review rotary cutting techniques when we cut the fabric strips and then create the squares.Note: This class will cover creating the quilt top itself. You will sandwich, quilt, and bind the quilt outside of the class time.
