Inspired by A Chorus Line, "THE AUDITION: The Musical!" is a fast-paced, funny and deeply touching celebration of theatre, resilience and the courage it takes to put yourself out there. (Recommended for age 10+.)The Class Act Showstoppers are a troupe of middle school triple threats under the direction of Jaclyn Loewenstein, Stephen Burdsall and Jordan Rinkenberger. Class Act (classactchampaign.com) offers year-round theatre training for ages 3 to adult.
Three of the 15 current Showstoppers have performed in previous Station Theatre productions ("Falsettos" and "This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing"), and the March 28-29 performances will serve as a fundraiser benefiting The Station's sustainability initiatives.
