Deadbeat Scooter Club presents
Clark County 80 SOBER RIDE #1
CC80 2026 Itinerary
This is the first, of what we hope will be many, of the Clark County 80 Sober Ride. We are emphasizing wheels on the road with long, fast, curvy rides, and less bar culture. No fuss, no drama, just hopping on bikes and
going...far.
Clark County, the bastard cousin to the North of Portland, has many beautiful and manicured roads and routes to offer, and this is our planned
exploitation of that.
Deadbeat Scooter Club is a vintage only scooter club based in Portland, OR. We strongly encourage that only vintage scooters come for this ride, but no one will be turned away.
This rally is intended to be about exploring and sharing these fun fast roads with our vintage scooter friends, and to offer a sober option to those who choose to abstain from alcohol. The majority of our rallies and rides have a close relationship with alcohol. This ride isn't that. We wanted to take a chance to celebrate the strength and determination it takes to choose sobriety, especially in our community.
We ask that you please, abstain from drinking for this rally. We appreciate you adhering to this and respecting our sober comrades.
Let’s ride!
Be sure your scooter can hit at least 50-55mph (not downhill). Everyone will be given a route map in their rally pack.
Start!
Compass Coffee 8013 NE St. Johns Blvd, Vancouver, WA@ 9AM
There’s an Arco next door (NE 78th & St. Johns Blvd.) with clear, recommended filling before leaving the coffee spot.
Good 30-40 miles til the next gas stop. Fuel up on some pastries and coffee for an hour or so,
collect rally packs, mingle.
KSU @ 11:00AM
Max will lead a ride through beautiful Northern Clark County, roughly 85 miles or so.
This year, we’ll be making a counterclockwise loop, very similar to the 70 mile Northern Clark County Scenic Route.
Up through Battle Ground, Yacolt, Amboy, La Center, Ridgefield, and back down through
Felida into Downtown Vancouver for our finish. It is a lengthy, curvy, hilly
route. Any questions feel free to reach out to any Deadbeat.
There will be a gas stop in Amboy as well as a lunch hour spot somewhere
halfway. Details to come.
