Clam Bayou Nature Park Invasive Removal
About this Event
Join the City of Gulfport in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful for a project at Clam Bayou Nature Park! Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist removing invasive vegetation including Brazilian Pepper and Carrotwood to help this local ecosystem thrive. We can't wait to see you there!
Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.

WHEN: 8 AM - 11 AM. Please arrive a few minutes early to sign in.
WHERE: Clam Bayou Nature Park - 29th Ave S & Miriam St S, Gulfport, FL 33711.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. Long pants, long sleeve shirts, hat, and sunglasses are recommended.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All supplies will be provided including gloves, loppers, sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. A water refill station will be available. Please bring a refillable bottle.
PARKING: Free parking is available on site.
