Saxophonist and educator David Sharp will headline a concert that includes several of his compositions and arrangements. He will also be a featured soloist on many selections. Currently professor of instrumental music at Indian Hills Community College, Sharp is a nationally recognized composer and arrangers for big bands. Sponsored by the Community Jazz Center of Greater Des Moines, the concert is free and open to the public. The concert will take place in room 148 on the southwest corner of Franklin Junior High Event Center in Des Moines.
