Join us for a public training opportunity to learn more about how to respond when confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the avoid, deny, defend (ADD) strategy by Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT), provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and other considerations. Like you, we pray this training is never needed, but we also want you to be prepared. Both residents and business partners are encouraged to attend. No registration is required.
This training is being offered in partnership with the North Texas Crime Commission and will be instructed by members of the Lake Worth Police Department.
