The course teaches the concepts Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT and helps civilians understand how to apply these concepts in an actual emergency.
The training runs about 2 hours and includes a PowerPoint presentation, lecture, videos, and an opportunity to ask questions.
