Join us for a timely and empowering community event focused on demystifying gerrymandering and understanding how it impacts your vote and your voice.
Hosted by Fem Democrats of North County and North County San Diego Womxn's March, this Civics 101 session is designed to inform, inspire, and activate. Whether you're newly engaged or a longtime advocate for fair representation, you'll walk away with a deeper understanding of how district lines are drawn—and how we can fight for fair maps together.
🎙 Featured Speakers:
- Guest Educator Tim Leary: A nonpartisan social studies teacher who has taught US government for 35 years will break down what gerrymandering is, how it works, and its effects on elections and policy.
- Local Elected Official Kyle Krahel: Deputy Chief of Staff and Field Director will address how gerrymandering will impact our local communities and what’s being done to push for reform.
