Join Louisville Public Media and Indiana Public Broadcasting for a free workshop on how to engage with Indiana’s 2025 legislative session.
About this Event

Hear directly from lawmakers, journalists and community experts as they offer guidance on how to engage with the process, share how they stay informed and discuss what to expect in this year’s legislative session in our free workshop. We’ll answer your questions and share tools and resources to follow topics that matter to you. Registration is encouraged. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Lauren Chapman, Indiana Public Broadcasting digital editor, will start the event with a short presentation on key dates, how to find and follow bills, when lawmakers hear testimony and other questions our news team frequently receives.

Aprile Rickert, Southern Indiana reporter for Louisville Public Media, will then moderate a panel discussion with lawmakers, journalists and community experts. Audience questions will be encouraged throughout.
