About this Event
Plastic pollution is more than an environmental crisis — it’s a growing public health threat. Join Tami Mulcahy, Chair of the Plastic Solutions Task Force for the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG), as she explores the hidden ways plastics affect our bodies, communities, and ecosystems.
From fetal and child development to the health of our oceans, plastic is an insidious presence in daily life. Tami will share what science is revealing about plastic’s impact on health, along with practical solutions and actions you can take to reduce unnecessary plastic in your community.
In addition to her environmental leadership, Tami is a Northern California singer-songwriter and founder of South Bay House Concerts, where she has built a thriving network supporting local musicians.
This inspiring program will empower you with knowledge and tools to “Unlearn Unnecessary Plastic” and take part in the movement toward healthier people and a healthier planet.
