JavaScript Community & a Decade of Building Together
I started CityJS over a decade ago as a local JavaScript meetup, simply to bring developers together to learn, share ideas, and feel part of a community. What began as small gatherings greworganically, driven by curiosity, generosity, and a shared love for JavaScript.
As I travelled and connected with developers around the world, CityJS grew alongside those relationships. We welcomed people from allover the globe, built friendships across borders, and invited some of the most influential voices in JavaScript to share their knowledge with the community. The goal was always to bring great people together in an open and welcoming environment.
We are very aware of how quickly the ecosystem evolves. CityJS continues to grow alongside new technologies, senior engineering practices, and AI-influenced workflows, adapting our programme while staying true to our values.
